Opt for color-safe, sulfate-free shampoos. Sulfates are like that friend who just can't stop talking—great at first but ultimately too harsh! They strip your color faster than you can say "ombre." and PLEASE stay away from store Brands! We spend a lot of thought and money on our Hair color services, so don't try and Save on Your hair products.
2. Use Conditioner Like It's Your Job
Invest in a good quality conditioner and use it religiously. also, a HUUGE TiP...use a Wet Brush and Saturate that hair! Think of it as a spa day for your hair. Bonus points for leave-in conditioners! Be Mindful of Chlorine and Saltwater
If you're swimming, wet your hair and apply a protective leave-in conditioner before diving in, and rinse in fresh water ASAP after getting out! Chlorine can turn your vibrant color into a sad, faded memory as well as dry as the Sahara desert!
3. Protect from Heat
If you're using hot tools, always apply a heat protectant. It’s like sunscreen for your hair—because nobody wants a fried mane! Using good quality tools will also help as well as lowering those Temps! Nobody even cooks a steak at 400 degrees!
4. Avoid Sun Exposure
The sun can be a color thief. Wear a hat or use UV protection sprays to keep those vibrant hues from fading faster than your motivation to hit the gym. You really should learn to be a vampire when it comes to your hair or your skin if I'm being honest. It literally only takes an hour in the sun to create BRASS.
5. Be Mindful of Chlorine and Saltwater
